Department of Surgery

About the Department

The Faculty of Surgery is responsible for teaching and training medical students at PAF Faisal, Masroor Hospitals, and the state-of-the-art Diagnostic Center at PAF Faisal.

Students are trained in general surgery principles including infections, inflammation, asepsis, tumors, fluid management, and specific conditions like hernia, gallstones, gastrointestinal malignancy, thyroid and breast pathologies, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, vascular and cardiothoracic surgery.

Teaching emphasizes active participation, clinical case discussion, independent thinking, and evidence-based patient care.
