Simulation-Based Training for Future Physicians
Fazaia Ruth Pfau Medical College has a state-of-the-art Skills Development Lab where medical students acquire essential procedural competencies in a safe, simulated learning environment using manikins and training models before real patient exposure.
The lab supports the Modular Integrated System by providing structured skill-based activities throughout the academic years. It also conducts professional workshops for faculty and staff including BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PTC, PALS and NRP.
During clinical years, the Skills Lab functions as a dedicated OSCE center for 3rd, 4th and Final Year MBBS students, ensuring standardized assessment of clinical competence and professionalism.
