About the Department

The Department of Gastroenterology at Fazaia Ruth Pfau Medical College is located at PAF Hospital, Base Masroor. The department provides quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders and delivers up-to-date education to undergraduate medical students.

It is a five-bedded facility with ICU support shared with other specialties. Outpatient clinics run twice weekly at Base Masroor and once weekly at Base Faisal. The department includes a dedicated room for upper and lower endoscopic procedures. Students rotate in the department according to their clinical schedule, with formal assessments and feedback at the end of each rotation.
