Comprehensive Cardiovascular Care & Advanced Diagnostic Services
The Department of Cardiology is newly built and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with cardiovascular diseases. The department is led by Prof. Dr. Syed Ishtiaq Rasool.
Facilities include a five-bed Coronary Care Unit (CCU), a dedicated cardiology ward, and outpatient clinics with a full-time cardiologist. Non-invasive diagnostics such as Exercise Tolerance Test (ETT), Transthoracic and Stress Echocardiography, and Coronary CT Angiography are available for assessment of coronary and valvular heart diseases and congenital defects.
