Department of Anatomy

About the Department

Anatomy is one of the major subjects related to the normal structure of the human body among the basic medical sciences. The department of anatomy is located at the ground floor of the newly built college campus of FRPMC established as per rules and regulations laid by PMC.

The department comprises well-trained and experienced faculty members. It has a well-established and well-lit dissection hall with a large mortuary, a well-stocked museum equipped with models of gross anatomy, embryology and histology, and a modern histology lab with multi-head microscopes and projection facilities.

The motto of the department is to provide quality medical education through innovative teaching strategies and integration with other basic medical sciences for comprehensive understanding of disease.
