About the Library

The Central Library of Fazaia Ruth Pfau Medical College serves as an academic backbone for students, faculty and researchers. It provides access to a wide range of medical textbooks, reference materials, journals, and digital learning resources in a peaceful and modern learning environment.

The library supports the modular integrated curriculum by offering both print and electronic resources that encourage independent learning, evidence-based practice, and lifelong education.

Learning Resource Center

Introduction

The FRPMC Library is a specialized medical/health sciences library serving faculty, students, researchers and staff. Alongside the printed collection, access is provided to HEC digital library resources, offering nearly 35,000 e-books and 40,000 e-journals across campus WiFi.

The library provides photocopying, scanning, printing, and storage facilities, and is staffed by seasoned professionals to assist patrons in their academic endeavors. The motto is to guide students on how to learn, utilize, and achieve maximum knowledge in their medical journey.

College Central Library

The FRPMC Central Library enriches learning, teaching, and research by providing timely access to high-quality scholarly information. It has approximately 1833 textbooks and over 200 FRPMC journals.

The library includes a print book section, reference section, quiet study room, and E-Library (IT Resource Center), with more than 100 reader seats. It promotes enquiry, critical thinking, and effective use of resources aligned with the curriculum and medical education guidelines.

Managed under the guidance of the Principal FRPMC and a dedicated Library Committee, it ensures top-quality services to support academic programs and student success.
